For a Series A investment in a B2B SaaS company, we assessed the scalability of the product and the execution capacity of the engineering team. The review surfaced structural constraints in the architecture and a heavy reliance on one senior engineer for core systems. While not deal-breaking, these risks informed a more conservative growth plan, adjustments to the hiring roadmap, and changes to governance expectations post-investment.
During a growth-stage acquisition process, we conducted technical due diligence focused on data architecture, operational resilience, and long-term maintainability. The analysis revealed fragmented data pipelines and higher-than-expected technical debt in core systems. The deal proceeded, but the findings directly informed downside protection mechanisms, integration planning, and prioritization of post-close technical remediation.
For a corporate acquirer evaluating a technology-led acquisition, we performed a rapid technical diligence to assess integration feasibility and time-to-value. The review identified mismatches between the target’s architecture and the acquirer’s core platform, as well as underdeveloped internal documentation and testing practices.
